New York City police are on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with two sexual assaults that occurred in Central Brooklyn.
The alleged attacks occurred on March 16 and 23, when the suspect allegedly assaulted both victims at gunpoint early in the morning. The man is accused of dragging the women into isolated areas on the border of Clinton Hill and Bedford-Stuyvesant, raping them and then fleeing the scene on foot.
During the first assault on March 16, police say a 56-year-old female was approached by the suspect, who was armed with a firearm. The suspect apparently took the victim to John Hancock Park where he sexually assaulted her and struck her on the head with a gun, causing a laceration.
The suspect allegedly struck again on March 23, when he approached a 42-year-old female near Franklin Ave., dragged her into an alley way and proceeded to rape her before striking her on the head with a gun.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’8″-5’11”, 160-180 pounds, and was last spotted wearing a green jacket, dark pants and white sneakers.
