Subway Strikes, Kills Girl On Upper East Side


A young girl was struck by a subway in Manhattan and killed on Thursday afternoon, CBS 2 has learned. The tragic accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on the 6-train line at the 77th Street and Lexington Avenue stop. Witnesses told CBS 2 around 3:30, they saw a group of teens playing around on the tracks when they heard a “thump” and saw a girl who appeared to be in her teens on the tracks.
