It was like a fairy tale wedding… with sliders and a Coke.
Stephanie Keil married her prince charming, Rich Brostowski at White Castle restaurant this Valentine’s Day.
“We’ve been engaged since 2006,” said Keil of Garfield, N.J., “but circumstances kept putting the date off. I am thrilled to be marrying the love of my life. I would marry him anywhere.”
The couple, who won a radio contest on New York’s 92.3 NOW WXRK, exchanged vows at 642 Broadway in Newark, N.J. Sunday. DJ Chunky, who served as the best man, searched for listeners who were looking to get married, but couldn’t because of finances or other obstacles.
More than 20 couples wrote in, citing reasons why they deserve free wedding bands, a limo, tuxedo, dress, and of course, the venue. Keli and Brostowski were the lucky couple, chosen by listeners via online voting.
