Andy Dick was arrested in West Virginia on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Police responded to a call around 4 a.m. Saturday, after Dick appeared at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant in Huntington. Witnesses say the comedian engaged in non-consensual sexual contact with a bouncer and another patron at Rum Runners bar, also in Huntington.
“He had engaged in unwanted and uninvited groping of the two victims’ genital areas,” authorities said in a prepared statement.
Dick was arraigned Saturday in Cabell County Magistrate Court. His bail was set for $60,000.
Meanwhile, Funny Bone manager Tom Schaefer said Dick is “absolutely still on the schedule for Saturday and Sunday,” and said he planned to post Dick’s bail.
The actor and comedian is still on probation following a 2008 arrest for pulling down a teen girl’s top and exposing her breasts. In 2007, he was cited in Columbus, Ohio, for urinating on the sidewalk. Dick was also arrested in 1999 for possession of cocaine and marijuana after driving his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood.
Dick has appeared in various movies, starred in MTV’s The Andy Dick Show and most recently appeared on Vh1’s “Celebrity Rehab” spin-off “Sober House.”
