Due to ongoing switch problems at the Times Square-42nd Street Station, Van Cortlandt Park-bound trains are running with delays.
In addition, due to debris on the track at the 181st Street Station, there is no train service between the 168th Street Station and the Dyckman Street Station in both directions.
Van Cortlandt Park-bound train service will terminate at 168th Street Station.
Shuttle Buses are running between the 168th Street Station and the Dyckman Street Station. Shuttle train service is being provided between Dyckman Street Station and the 242nd Street Station.
During this service outage, the M3 bus, which operates along St. Nicholas Avenue will be FARE FREE for northbound customers 168th Street, in both directions at 181st Street, and; southbound at 191st Street.
As an alternative, customers are advised to use nearby train, M100 or BX7 bus service running on Broadway.
This suspension in service will have an impact on wheelchair customers who rely on the train. Those customers are advised to do the following:
Wheelchair customers heading Bronx-bound should get off at 72nd Street and take M5 bus to 168th Street where a shuttle bus will make all stops north of 168th Street to Van Cortlandt Park Station. Wheelchair customers heading Manhattan-bound from 231st Street should call 1-800-834-1173 and make arrangements for a shuttle bus to take them to the 207th Street Station, where they can transfer to the train to continue their ride.
