Two toddlers from Brooklyn — who inadvertently fell out of windows in two separate incidents — have died, police said.
18-month old Marcus Oliver and three-year-old Devin Joseph Jr. both died Tuesday after plunging out of two windows in different sections of Flatbush.
According to reports, Marcus crawled out of his grandmother’s bedroom window at her home on Albany Ave. on Monday afternoon. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The boys’ grandmother told police she doesn’t have window guards because that was not his primary residence.
The other toddler, Devin, plunged into an alleyway Tuesday evening after he managed to climb out of a three-story window at a home on Westminister Rd. He was also rushed to King County Hospital, but died shortly after being admitted.
In that case, too, a safety guard was not on the window, police said.
